You are not just surviving a preset story this time. You are building it. Every run begins with a menu that looks more like a control panel than a level select screen. Rows of familiar faces stare back at you, from classic Freddy and Bonnie to the strangest side characters the series has ever thrown at you. The fun is in discovering how these combinations behave once the clock starts. Some animatronics clash in ways you did not predict. Slam the doors shut for safety and you might run out of energy before 6 AM ever arrives. Ignore the vents and you will not have to worry about power because you will not be alive long enough to see it hit zero.
The game forces you into a careful rhythm. Check a key camera, glance at a vent, tap the light, listen for footsteps, repeat. You learn specific loops tailored to each setup. With a certain group of animatronics, you might barely touch the main hall camera, instead living inside the vent monitors. With others you split your attention between a single vital camera and the doors, hoping you can hear anything sneaking through the ducts.

The heater might scare off one enemy but anger another or raise the temperature to levels that trigger entirely different threats. The global music box soothes some characters but eats power on its own. Not everything you can turn on is a good idea and the game never stops reminding you.
